Dr Waheed Hussain MBChB MRCGP
Dr Hussain is the lead senior partner at the practice and has been a doctor for 16 years and GP for 9 years. He is clinical lead for Diabetes, QOF (Quality of Framework), and Mental Health lead. Dr Hussain has experience in minor surgery and travel immunisations. Dr Hussain is the clinical practitioner for the level 2 Diabetes clinic and is involved in supporting other potential level 2 practitioners. He has a keen interest in strategic development and innovation in primary care, educational and health provisions in socially deprived areas. Dr Hussain has been involved in education for the last 10 years particularly to students from inner city backgrounds who are interested in careers in Medicine. Dr Hussain has actively worked with colleagues in the establishment of a City Clinical Commissioning Group and is an executive board member. Dr Hussain has involvement in the local GP federation which is helping to shape patients service locally and transform the health and social care landscape. His role in the CCG is the primary and secondary care lead, Mental Health lead, Diversity and Equality, Enhanced Services, Data informatics lead.

Dr Nazia is a local GP who has a wealth of experience and has developed an excellent relationship with patients. She has a regular clinic on Thursday and has experience in Sexual Health and Family planning.

Dr Lunat is an experience GP locum and has regularly worked at the practice, His clinics are on a Friday and he is an invaluable member of the practice team. He has an excellent doctor-patient relationship, has been involved in a number of workshops on health and has supported the practice aspirations. He has a keen interest in Mental Health,
Mr Imran Khan MRPharmS IP
Imran is working as an independent pharmacy practitioner. He has been involved in providing and delivering the practice medicinal management strategy. As part of his CCG role he has performed home visits for over 200 patients at the practice reviewed their medication, supported concordance and optimised treatment. He has also been involved in implementing the practice same day telephone triage/consultation process. Imran has been involved in the practice KPPI (Key performance Prescribing Indicators) and has maintained high standards.

Tina is a new practice nurse at the surgery and has significant practice nurse experience and also an independent prescriber. She currently reviews patients Asthma, Diabetes level 1 (not on Insulin/injectable devices). She has supported the practice and has helped to shape services.
Senior Health Care Assistant
Shahida has been at the practice for over 10 years. She has extensive experience in supporting clinicians in chronic disease management, circumcision, and minor surgery and phlebotomy services. She is also involved in smoking cessation and has expertise in ECGs, spirometry and wound care.
Suzanne graduated in 1993 at Leicester University with a degree in Podiatric Medicine. Since then she has worked in several NHS posts including establishing and running the Acute Podiatry Department for Scunthorpe and Goole NHS Trust for 5 years. She has also worked for Leeds united in the premier league for four years. She currently works at Clarendon Medical Centre, Westcliffe medical Centre and has three private practices. Suzanne has two young children and her hobbies are she enjoys horse riding and reading.
Shaun is a local physiotherapist and has over 15 years’ experience. He has a keen interest in rehabilitation and recovery, trained in acupuncture and also has a keen understanding and competence in manipulative techniques
Julie Horsfield – Practice Nurse and Level 2 Practitioner
Julie Horsfield is an exceptional Level 2 Diabetes nurse and manages patients who are poorly controlled Diabetes and may well be on Insulin or injectable devices. She works part of the multi-disciplinary team.
